My cousin is my cousin

So I have a cousin and a friend who sew. They are both really good. I feel I should patronise my cousin but she is way more expensive than the friend. Even when she brags about giving me a good price, she's still expensive. Also, my friend goes out of her way to please me. I'm closer to my friend than the cousin but I feel my cousin is my cousin. I should patronise her but it's at my detriment (financially). What would you do if you were in my shoes.

Hi bloghearts, how's the week going? I got this from a blogheart yesterday. It's a good topic to blog about. Kindly share your opinions. Remember this is our year of getting interactive? *kisses* I'll be back after class. Xo, Anuoluwapo.

  1. I see ''they're both really good''. Dear poster, I'd say twice your friend, once your cousin. Meaning, patronize your friend on two occasions and your cousin on the third. If you can't afford your cousin, let her know and always use your friend.
Oh please, if you're in Ilorin, please give Anu your friend's contact details for me.I'm serious. Thanks

  2. They are both really good, only one is more expensive... Its a no brainer to me, patronize your friend. You say you're even closer to your friend so makes it better.

    1. I would have gone this lane too only if her conscience was cool with it.

I think you need to talk to your cousin. You feel this way because you're cousins. Others won't think about patronising her twice

  8. Experience has taught me to be kind to my pocket and that involves displeasing people to please myself? Yes, she's your cousin but patronising her will affect you financially. I would rather go to that friend of mine who is equally good and is not expensive.

  10. I will talk to my cousin about it, if she refuses to bring down her price, I will patronise my friend and forget about my cousin.

I refuse to be biased and judgemental. I look at issues from both sides of the coin, form my conclusions and allow you do same. Hopefully we can put ourselves straight in love.
