Self-love and love to the brothers

Ladies are so confusing, we're beginning to confuse me sef. One minute we claim to be independent and strong. We don't want to be seen as sex objects but as individuals with intelligence and wisdom equal to that of men, besides, what a man can do, a woman can do better. And then we switch on the T.V. to see us shaking our behinds to very degrading songs. Majority of our songs hail illegally gotten money, drugs, alcohol and us, women. A guy that claims to respect the female members of his family and females generally won't churn out such ridiculousness. Why are you singing about our body parts and the stupid things you want to do with us. What decent man does that? Aren't you ashamed? More distasteful are the ones that go further to insult our faith. Aje butter's omo pastor, Steelz' bebe idi alhaja, jump and pass (Terry G was in the attire of white garment churches in the video, I think. I also do not find comedians in this attire funny, it's very disrespectful). Maybe I can make a video with naked men and sing about their body parts. Who wants to do a collabo with me?
What is the job of a video vixien? Have a sex appeal and shake her butt while the artiste sings ileke idi, ibebe idi, ko maa gbon, ko maa gbon, ko maa gbon? That sounds like an unfortunate job and for how much again? I need to be enlightened. Take a cue from Kaffy, she is a dancer, inspiring and empowering people. We don't see her shaking shaking up and down. Female artistes, our supposed celebrities, who should know better and be role models sadly do not know better. There is a video and pictures of a singer embarrassing the female folk. I've not seen the video but the pictures are very tacky and distasteful. We know she is dressed in a suit that makes her look naked. It would do her more good to give her hubby the very sexual performance instead of giving us the "free" soft porn. Her defence is that it's for viewers aged 18+. An evil irresponsible man, who has no control over his body, gets charged seeing such and goes ahead to abuse a baby, an old woman or a lady who is properly dressed and one wonders what the attraction was. I am not trying to explain rape, rape is certainly unacceptable regardless of whatever excuse the rapist puts forward. She also says she is trying to make international standards and yes, that's a big leap in that direction. We indeed have seen worse, we weren't however expecting this hence the outcry by her fans on social networks and blogs. That's our Maheeda's department, right? This definitely isn't just a Nigerian thing, the oyinbo counterparts have phd degrees, they don't carry any course in this field at all.
If we really want to be regarded as intellectuals who run the world, we need to know our worth, respect ourselves, treat ourselves the way we want to be treated and stop being so cheap. I'm not sorry if my opinion offends you, that's why it's my blog. I can't be right though that's why there is a comment section and I ask what you think. I'll conclude with a quote from Open Heavens daily devotional guide.
Love is not self-centred. It cares for others. Do you love your brethren and care for them? One way to demonstrate that you care for your brethren as a lady is through modest dressing. One who really loves does not dress to kill. She is dressed to save. Christians who wear indecent clothes cannot be said to love their brethren.
Thanks for reading my rant, what do you think?

OMG! I so can not stand that. I probably should put up a post about it so I don't start ranting again. I haven't watched music channels in two weeks now, I don't know how long I can keep at it. If I think it's bad for me, how is it okay for kids? I'll put up something about it tomorrow or the day after. Please come back

SPOT ON! Just last week I wrote about these video vixens being upgraded to the status of celebrity in our society on my pm. I mean, how come? ! How did we get here? Celebrating immorality. I wonder if these girls have parents when I see these videos. I heard the top ones earn about 50 to 100k, so what?! It is just so crazy. It double irritates me when I see older girls or ladies in Davido or wizkid ' s music videos. We are just so shameless, yes "we" I'm not denying my gender because of some girls who have lost their dignity. - that's what I think of them. I haven't seen Tiwa ' latest release too but by the pictures I've seen so far, I'm already disgusted. I hope we are able to arouse their consciousness to find God's true purpose for their lives by writing often about these new found decadence.

Yes o, celebs (in their pockets). Can you imagine? 50k to 100k for top ones, shame! Can things get better though? End time.
